About Us

The Division deals with administrative and general support to the Department of Sports. The major matters/fields handled by the Division are as follows:

  1. Procurement and Reimbursement: Handling all matters related to procurement processes and reimbursement of expenses.
  2. Work Allocation and Administration: Managing work allocation and administrative matters within the Department of Sports.
  3. Maintenance and Housekeeping: Overseeing general maintenance and housekeeping activities.
  4. Verification and Authorization: Verifying and authorizing bills, service books, and related documents.
  5. HR and Personnel Matters: Managing service matters including human resources, personnel issues, and medical reimbursements.
  6. Protocol Duties: Performing protocol duties for senior officers of the Department of Sports.
  7. Additional Responsibilities: Handling any other matters assigned from time to time with the approval of the Competent Authority.

The Division plays a key role in ensuring smooth administrative functioning and efficient support services within the Department of Sports.
